A new apartment building is a step closer to approval in Stirling.
Tuesday, the Hastings County Planning and Development Committee approved Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments for a property bordering West Front and Brown Streets which would allow for a three-storey building featuring 29 one- and two-bedroom units.
The property (227 West Front Street) currently has one vacant building – the former Black Dog restaurant.
It has not been determined if the units will be rented or sold as freehold condominiums.
The matter still needs final approval from Hastings County Council which meets Thursday.
