If the forecasts are correct, Wednesday will bring a new high temperature record for the Quinte region.
Forecasters predict a high Wednesday of around 12 degrees and that would easily surpass a longstanding record for the area which was 8.9 degrees celsius.
That was set 74 years ago in 1949.
