Kids Got Talent coming back

The word is out – the Kids Got Talent show is gearing up for its 2023 event.

People looking forward to Quinte’s biggest little talent show will have a chance to buy tickets on Wednesday.

The show will once again feature 20 local acts from across the region singing, dancing and performing – all for the entertainment of Quinte residents and to support the Children’s Safety Village.

The Village Executive Director Bill Glisky tells Quinte News, “It’s a great fundraiser for the Children’s Safety Village, which of course you know, helps educate kids. But, even for the kids involved, it’s such a great experience to be able to perform live on the Empire stage, which, you know, is such a beautiful facility, and the children all get the backstage care, and the red carpet treatment.”

This year ticket buyers will have three choices: child, adult, and VIP – which will feature access to the VIP lounge where Quinte Gardens will spoil guests with cold drinks and delicious treats during intermission and before the show. Prices are on the website.

Kids Got Talent committee chair Sherry Barker says her committee is geared up to once again give local young people the experience of a lifetime while giving local residents a wonderful entertainment experience.

“Every child who dreams of someday stepping out on a stage and hearing the roar of the crowd deserves a chance to live that dream,” she said. “Thanks to the help of our sponsors and supporters we have an opportunity to help some young people in our community live that dream while the community supports a very good cause.”

All funds raised by Kids Got Talent support the Children’s Safety Village in its mission to teach young people in the Quinte Region how to be safer.
