A community wide effort to deal with the growing problem of homelessness in Belleville will get underway with an event in April.
Monday city councillor Paul Carr told council the date for a homelessness summit will be on April 13 at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
The summit’s goal will be to bring all stakeholders and community partners together to discuss ways to end homelessness in the city by setting clear goals and targets.
More information on the event is expected in the next few weeks.
