The process to redevelop the 0ld fairgrounds site in Belleville’s west end could get underway this year.
City council will see an overview of the proposed capital budget Monday and in it $4 million has been earmarked for
detailed design and the construction of water/sewer mains and an access road to the part of the property where a new YMCA
will eventually be located near the Quinte Curling Club.
Council will hold a special meeting on the capital spending plan on February 23.
