Former Quinte and Stirling Figure Skating Club member Madison Myers has skated her way to California, or at least a place at the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Nationals in Anaheim.
Myers brought home a silver medal from the Bronco Cup at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo Michigan.
Madison earned her second place for the Ladies Junior Long Program and freeskate. Myers’s team, the Adrian College Bulldogs, took second place overall for the team scoring in the figure skating competition.
That placement qualifies the Bulldogs for the Nationals at UCLA in April.
Myers is a graduate of St. Theresa Secondary Catholic School in Belleville.
