In 2022, Discover Belleville’s “Family FUNfest” series linked with the Downtown District last February, the Mayor’s Week of the Arts in May and the Rotary Club of Belleville’s “Touch a Truck” in September. Community partners are key to the success of these events, and joining forces with Loyalist College with their indoor and outdoor capacity makes the weather less of an issue (though the forecast is looking pretty great!)
“We’re thrilled to welcome our community to the Loyalist College campus for the Discover Belleville Family FUNFest: Winter Edition,” said Mark Kirkpatrick, Acting President of Loyalist College. “Together, our teams have organized an incredible line-up of activities for the whole family on behalf of the City of Belleville, and we can’t wait to see you there!”
Family FUNfest: Winter Edition is looking forward to seeing smiling faces at Loyalist College on Sunday February 12th from 11am to 4pm. The cafeteria will feature indoor arts & crafts, rock painting, face & henna art, Disney Princess meet & greets along with some Loyalist College displays and outside, catch an ice carving demo and then grab a horse drawn wagon ride over to the Shark Tank entrance with lumberjack shows, a fire & ice show, Snowflake Princesses, various food choices (including funnel cakes, burgers, maple syrup treats, FREE hot chocolate & Beavertails), interactive displays and giveaways (while supplies last).
Onsite parking is free and free shuttle buses will run continuously between Loyalist College and the downtown Pinnacle Street terminal. Shuttles will begin at 10:45 am and final departure from Loyalist at 4:10 pm.
