A night on the town turned violent for a few people last night after an assault at a North Front Street bar.
Police say a 19 year old Kingston woman threw a glass at another woman and hit her in the face.
The victim was taken to BGH for treatment of minor injuries while the 19 year old was charged with assault with a weapon and released on a promise to appear.
A 28 year old friend of the suspect was also taken in for being intoxicated in public.
