The Manitoba Moose defeated the Belleville Senators 4-2 at CAA Arena on Saturday.
Angus Crookshank and Ridly Greig scored for the Senators.
The Moose opened scoring in the first period and held onto their lead through the second as they picked up another goal. During the third period the Senators scored twice but the Moose claimed two more to hold onto their lead and take the game.
Belleville Senators Head Coach Troy Mann wasn’t happy with how the game went.
“There really wasn’t a lot of positive about tonight’s game. They came as advertised. I think we’ve talked a lot about how Manitoba plays. They win their 50-50 battles. They compete, have good gap control and play with structure,” said Mann.
The Senators next game is against the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday.
