A suspicious vehicle stop in Quinte West resulted in several charges against a Central Hastings man.
Just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, OPP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a Roblin Road business.
Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen from Belleville.
OPP say the driver also showed signs of intoxication and testing revealed his blood alcohol level to be above the legal limit.
Dale Kahler faces charges of theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts of operation while impaired.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
