Multiple charges have been laid after a stolen vehicle was recovered in Madoc.
Central Hastings OPP say they received information on a stolen vehicle early this morning (Friday).
Members of the Central Hastings OPP, with assistance from the OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Canine unit, were able to track down those involved.
In total, three people were charged.
Thirty-eight-year-old Daniel Foley of Peterborough was charged with the following:
- Dangerous Operation
- Theft Under $5000
- Break and Enter
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
- Operation while Prohibited – six counts
Thirty-six-year-old Sherri Tremblay of Quinte West and 34-year-old Sabrina Tremblay of Belleville were each charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
Foley and Sherri Lynn Tremblay were remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville for a bail hearing on January 9.
