A nearly 60-year-old temperature record was smashed Friday by more than a full degree.
Thermometers at CFB Trenton recorded a high of 8.6 degrees Celsius.
The previous high temperature record was 7.2 degrees, set in 1965.
Environment Canada predicts warm temperatures will continue into the coming week.
