Prince Edward County has lifted its Significant Weather Event declaration.
Snow removal began in Picton Tuesday night and continued in Wellington and Bloomfield Wednesday night.
Mayor Steve Ferguson estimates about 35 cm of snow fell at his home in the southern part of the County.
Environment Canada tells Quinte News that it was unable to get accurate readings of how much snow fell due to the high winds in the area.
They say at least 15-20 centimetres of snow fell as of the morning of Christmas Eve.
They did say however that wind gusts reached upwards of 120 km/h.
