There was a fire at an east end Belleville apartment building early Tuesday evening.
Smoke was seen coming from the third floor of the 12-plex at 380 Dufferin Avenue close to
Belleville Fire and Emergency Services headquarters.
The fire was under control quickly and damage was limited, however several people had to be assessed and treated for smoke inhalation by Hastings-Quinte paramedics.
