BLAZE BROUGHT QUICKLY UNDER CONTROL
Belleville firefighters were called out around noon Christmas Day.
Smoke was seen coming from 6863 Highway 62, the location of Mennonite Furniture.
A small building on the site was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. The main building and a nearby
house were not involved.
No injuries were reported but Hastings-Quinte paramedics were called to stand by at the scene.
The Quinte West Fire Department was called in for tanker support.
