A large blackout has engulfed Quinte West.
Hydro One previously reported more than 11,000 customers were without power with a blackout spanning from Centennial Park in Quinte West all the way to Campbellford.
Since then they have restored power to over half of them.
Power remains out for just over 4,500 customers between downtown Trenton and Johnstown.
Hydro One says the root cause is still under investigation, but estimates power will be restored for remaining customers by 5:30 this evening.
