The Navy League of Canada, Belleville Branch has announced CPOC2 Jaden Hearns as the recipient of the 2022 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Education Foundation Scholarship.
Each year the foundation presents scholarships to deserving Sea Cadets who are pursuing post secondary education.
Jaden is currently enrolled in Forensic Science at Trent University.
She has been in a class of excellence from the beginning of her cadet career maintaining a leadership role even through the restrictions of COVID. As a result, in 2021, she was awarded the Navy League Ontario’s Rear Admiral Bennet Leadership Award. In 2022 she received the Ontario Navy League Medal of Excellence, the Sally Mott Cadet of the Year and the Barry Bevvan Award & Grant. Both the Belleville Navy League and the Officers of RCSCC Quinte are confident that Jaden Hearns represents the youth that will be our leaders of the future.
