The Salvation Army is once again partnering with Walmart for its “Fill the Kettle Day.”
On December 17, Walmart Canada will be hosting its 13th annual “Fill the Kettle Day” and match donations made by individuals to Salvation Army Christmas kettles located in stores nationwide, up to a maximum of $100,000.
The Salvation Army in Belleville will have kettles at both exits at the Walmart located at Millennium Pkwy from 8 a.m to 8 p.m.
A TipTap machine will be at the kettle at the north exit of the building. This will allow donations through debit or credit card.
The Salvation Army Brass Band will play Christmas carols from 1 p.m to 2 p.m tomorrow as well.
