FRANKFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL IS CLOSED TODAY DUE TO A PROLONGED POWER OUTAGE.

The Belleville and Quinte West YMCA’s will be closed all day Friday.

The Whoville Christmas event at 89 South John Street, Belleville has been cancelled tonight (Thursday), but will be running Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

City of Belleville’s Festival of Lights visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus has been cancelled for Friday, December 16.

Belleville Legion Men’s Dart League is cancelled this evening.

Due to the weather, there will be no euchre this evening at ANAF, 187 Front Street, Belleville.

Loyalist College Students: Due to a severe weather event, all on-campus exams, culminating activities & assessments, and labs scheduled for today (December 15) and Friday (December 16) are cancelled or postponed until January when the College reopens.

The Stirling Figure Skating Club pre-Canskate and Canskate are cancelled this evening.

Belleville Lions Club Bingo Hall is closing today at 4 p.m.

Consecon United Church’s concert is cancelled tonight tonight, December 15.

Local YMCAs are closing early at 7 p m.

Quinte Food Bank has rescheduled their food bank pick-up day. New donation pick-up is set for Sunday.

Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre closures/cancellations … for Thursday December 15, the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre will remain open to the public. The Family Dental Centre Indoor Track will remain open until 9:00 p.m. Ice and meeting room rentals will proceed; however, participants are encouraged to check with their organizations/groups to confirm the status of their rental. Depending on when the storm hits, cancellations may occur.

Due to the snowfall warning in effect and the request to avoid non-essential travel, all recreation programs at Quinte Sports & Wellness are cancelled for Friday, December 16, 2022. This includes:

All recreational swims, swimming lessons, aquafit programs and private pool rentals
All recreation programs (including fitness, gymnasium, open gym, youth and children’s programs)
The Workout Studio
The Youth Room
All 50+ Centre programs
