Belleville police responded to 70 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on December 14, 2022 to 5 a.m. on December 15, 2022.
Arrest on Warrants
On December 15, 2022 at 3:45 a.m., Belleville police received an alarm call at a building on Station Street. Upon arrival, police observed that the plywood had been removed from a window and that someone had gained entry. Police made contact with two males who, when requested, exited the building. As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old male and a 36-year-old male of no fixed address were arrested for breaching the conditions of their probation. They were both held for a bail hearing on December 15, 2022.
Mischief
On December 14, 2022 at 12:35 p.m., Belleville police received a call about mischief to a business on Bell Boulevard. The store manager noticed a small hole in the glass on the building, Police determined that a BB had been shot at the window and broken the outside pane of glass. There were no suspects located.
