A great Christmas tradition continued Friday with the annual Trenton Kiwanis Club Christmas luncheon.
It isn’t the most delicate of events but it’s a lot of fun and it always raises a lot of money for a local charity.
Friday, a grand total of $88,000 was raised by the Kiwanis.
Most of the funds raised will go to Catherine’s Kitchen which produces Christmas food hampers for financially challenged families.
Catherine’s Kitchen operates from At the Crossroads Church in Trenton.
What remains of the proceeds will go to various charitable organizations.
