Quinte West Council has approved a funding increase for a road project in the industrial park.
New industrial lots are being prepared, and Huff Avenue will be extended to provide the new properties with road access and utilities.
The project was originally granted $665,000, however, a budget increase of $425,000, to a total of just over one million dollars, was approved at Thursday’s special council meeting.
