It’s a new chapter for Addictions and Mental Health Service – Hastings Prince Edward.
The agency has a new moniker – Canadian Mental Health Association Hastings Prince Edward Addictions and Mental Health Services (CMHA-HPE).
The name change finalizes a process that began in the months leading up to the pandemic.
CEO Jennifer Keilty-Friesen says their services remain the same and stand only to improve as part of the CMHA network giving local clients and their families access to more resources, supports and programs.
The local organization can now offer CMHA Ontario provincial programs like Mental Health Works, Talk Today, Resilient Minds and Agriculture Wellness Ontario
“We are delighted to welcome CMHA-HPE to the CMHA branch network in Ontario,” said CMHA Ontario CEO Camille Quenneville. “This organization is a well-established leader in the community and already brings a wealth of knowledge and significant expertise to our network.”
CMHA-HPE has served approximately 5000 people living in Hastings Prince Edward per year, in addictions and mental health and addictions services.
