The 100+ Men Who Care Quinte is feeling less than 100%.
The group is composed of community members who each pay $100 to a pool to be donated to a charity of their choosing.
There are currently 85 members in the group.
Community Member Ian Press says COVID-19 was a big factor in losing members.
“It hit us just like everything else. So people had lots of challenges, and some guys bowed out and understandably so during COVID so our numbers dropped down. We’re starting to creep back up again but we’d like to get over 100 again, just because, well, every penny helps but $10,000 has a nice ring to it.”
Those interested in becoming a member can visit 100 Men Who Care Quinte’s website for more information.
The next meeting is set for February 27 at the Belleville Club.
