Building activity in Quinte West was busier in November compared to the same month last year.
Seventy permits, with a construction value of $12.2 million, were issued last month.
In November 2021, the city handed out 60 permits worth $7.9 million.
Quinte West earned $119,000 in permit fees and building charges last month.
Year-to-date construction value is up over 2021 even though fewer permits have been issued.
Through the end of November, the municipality issued 743 permits worth just over $137 million, while 821 permits with a value of $116.6 million were granted during the first eleven months of last year.
