One person was taken into custody following an incident in Campbellford Wednesday that lasted several hours.
Northumberland OPP, the Emergency Response Team and the Tactics and Rescue Unit responded to a call for assistance regarding a person who barricaded themselves within a residence in the Garry St / Oak St / Pellissier St area.
After several hours the individual was taken into custody without incident.
The investigation is continuing.
