The Trenton Golden Hawks sunk the Caledon Admirals 5 to 2.
Mitch Lafay, Nate Burelle, Stephen McDonald, Nathan Oikle, and Lucas Robinson scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks claimed an early lead with the first goal in the first period, but then went into an explosive second period by claiming four more goals to cement their lead and keep victory far out of the Admirals’ reach.
Meanwhile, the Wellington Dukes beat the Collingwood Blues 3 to 2 in double overtime.
Lucas Lapalm, David Campbell, and Mitchell Young all scored for the Dukes.
The Dukes led the game at the end of the first period 2 to 1, but the Blues managed to tie the game in the second period. With no points scored in the third period, the game was forced into overtime, and then double overtime before Young was able to secure the game-winning point.
