A woman has been charged with assault with a weapon, following a domestic incident in Belleville on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 5:15 pm, city police were called to Hastings Drive and Dundas Street East.
A 57-year-old female got into an altercation with a man at the home and cut him using a kitchen knife.
The woman is being held for a bail hearing in the investigation.
