Forty-two building permits valued at a total of over $5.8 million were issued in Quinte West for the month of October.
Of those permits, more than half were for residential properties. A total of 24 housing unit permits were issued.
The total number of permits issued so far in Quinte West is 673, down from the 761 issued at this point last year.
However, the value of those permits has exceeded last year’s with the value of the permits set at over $124.7 million.
That is up from the over $108 million at this time last year.
