The annual Herc Pull for United Way Hastings Prince Edward made its return to CFB Trenton last week.
Seven military and community-based teams, each consisting of 15 to 20 people pulled a CC130J Hercules aircraft down the flight line.
The plane weighs 100,000 pounds.
It was the first Herc Pull since 2019.
8 Wing Co-Chair for the National Defense Workplace Charitable Campaign, Major Angeline Marasse tells Quinte News $1,550 was raised for the United Way.
This is one of several fundraising events held throughout the year.
The military campaign raised almost $200,000 for the United Way in 2021.
