The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation says it’s received a near $49,000 donation from a local Tim Hortons owner.
Owner Josephine Robertson donated exactly $48, 946.58 from the Smile Cookie Week back in September.
Robertson is the owner of the Division St. Tim Hortons, which ranked first in fundraising in its division and 29th in all of Canada from Smile Cookie Week.
The funds will go towards supporting the purchase of a new Omnicell that the foundation says is critically needed in the inpatient unit.
The cost is over $100,000.
Omnicell is an automated system for medication management.
