It’s not just a new hockey season, the curling season is here as well and the Quinte Curling Club on Bridge Street West in Belleville wants to get you ready.
Especially newcomers.
The Quinte Curling Club is hosting a free event this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. where volunteers will be on hand to introduce the sport.
The Quinte Curling Club has introductory sessions every half hour beginning with a safety review.
The club will provide all the equipment you’ll need including gripper, slider, broom and curling rocks.
Visitors need clean indoor runners, warm gloves and warm, stretchy, comfortable layers of clothing. You might also want to bring something to keep your ears warm.
The Quinte Curling Club offers curling for all ages.
