Quinte West OPP are investigating what they are calling a serious collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle.
Police, Quinte West Fire and Hastings-Quinte paramedics responded to a collision involving a car and a cyclist at around 5:12 p.m. on Sidney St. in Trenton on Sunday.
The 54-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital via Air Ornge with serious injuries.
The driver had no injuries.
Sidney Street between Edward Street and Hollandale Avenue was closed to traffic for several hours as OPP crews investigated the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
No charges have been laid.
