The Wellington Dukes slipped past the Mississauga Chargers 2 to 1 in double overtime on Saturday night.
Edward Moscowitz and Julien Jacob scored for the Dukes.
Both teams took over 50 shots on net in the action-packed game, with the teams tied at 1-1 going into double overtime where Jacob secured the game-winning goal on a power play.
Meanwhile the Haliburton Huskies beat the Trenton Golden Hawks 6 to 2.
Jake Laville and Nate Burelle scored for the Golden Hawks.
Haliburton secured an early lead by the end of the first period and held onto it for the rest of the game as one of their players, Patrick Saini, secured a hat trick with three power play goals.
