Friday night’s highly anticipated NHL exhibition game between the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs at Belleville’s CAA Arena is turning into somewhat of a public relations nightmare for the host Belleville Senators.
In a press release, the B-Sens confirmed that a small number of tickets for the game had to be called back due to recent limitations on CAA Arena’s capacity.
That means some fans who bought tickets are out of luck.
According to the press release, “the decision was made to keep fan safety and experience as a top priority.”
Affected fans will receive a full refund and complimentary tickets to a future Belleville Sens game.
And due to limited on-site parking the B-Sens encourage fans to park at the Quinte Mall and take a free shuttle bus to the arena. The bus will run continually from 4:30 until after the game.
Doors for the game open at 5:30 to accommodate the capacity crowd.
