The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton made a rescue over the weekend.
Sunday afternoon, a Coast Guard crew towed a disabled vessel that had a person and a dog on it to safety.
The crew says the vessel experienced mechanical issues.
The person and dog were brought to safety at Trent Port Marina.
