The number of COVID-19 cases in the area saw a drop, according to Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
In the latest update to the COVID-19 dashboard, public health reported 228 new high-risk cases of COVID-19.
That’s down from 243 the week previous.
The number of active cases also went down from 311 to 272.
There is one new COVID-19 death, increasing the total to 83 since the start of the pandemic.
Hospitalizations did see an increase. There are now 42 people in hospital with the virus compared to 33 last week.
Intensive care saw a small drop from four to three.
High-risk outbreaks saw an increase. There are now 17 active high-risk outbreaks of COVID-19 in the region, up from 14 the previous week.
