Lennox and Addington OPP have arrested a pair of suspects, including a Belleville man, after executing a search warrant in Deseronto.
During the search Wednesday, police found over 100 grams of cocaine, a loaded handgun, a taser, an air pistol, a spiked baseball bat, and other items that were seized.
Thirty-five-year-old Robert Pammett of Deseronto and 41-year-old Christopher Derrett of Belleville, were charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Possession of a firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order – three counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
Both men are being held prior to a bail hearing.
