Fail to Comply with a Release Order
On September 13, 2022 at 9:40 a.m., Belleville police responded to the area of Front Street and Dundas Street for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police located the involved parties. Investigation revealed that one of the involved persons was on conditions stemming from a previous release order not to be near or communicate with one of the other one. As a result, 42-year-old Amanda Sleeper of Belleville was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order. She was held for a show cause hearing later that morning and remanded into custody.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On September 13, 2022 at 5:55 p.m., Belleville police responded to the area of Moira Street West and Sidney Street regarding a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries reported and both vehicles sustained significant damage. The at-fault driver was charged with turn not in safety and issued a provincial offences notice.
