100 + Women Who Care Quinte celebrated its 7th anniversary Wednesday night and celebrated it as the group always does, by selecting a worthy charity or other community organization for a donation.
The latest group to benefit from 100 + Women Quinte’s generosity is the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre located in the Napanee area.
Sandy Pines takes in injured or sick wild animals and birds and provides care to them with the eventual goal of releasing them back into the wild.
The exact amount of the donation isn’t known yet.
100 + Women Who Care Quinte has donated close to $300,000 to over 20 organizations since its inception.
