The Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge is scheduled to fully close starting Thursday night.
The closure is to allow for the removal of the existing steel girders.
This will consist of placing cranes either on or above the road to perform the required lifts.
A portion of County Rd. 35 will be closed, with no traffic being permitted to pass underneath the bridge.
The full closure will begin at 9 p.m. on Thursday and continue until 6 a.m on Friday.
