The Templeman Aquatic Centre at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre is set to close for its annual shutdown.
The shutdown will go from August 27 to September 11.
This will allow required maintenance to be performed.
A thorough cleaning of the pool basins, pool deck, windows, ledges, change rooms, office and storage room spaces will take place.
Periodic closures of the pool change rooms will also take effect during that time. The periodic closures will be to allow fitness users to access the shower facilities.
Public swimming and aquafit at the pools will continue on September 12. Swimming lessons will begin the week after on September 19.
