Quinte West OPP asking for the public’s help as they investigate a report of gunshots.
Sunday afternoon around 4:45 p.m., OPP received a report of multiple gunshots being fired in the area of Vermilyea Road somewhere between Huntingwood Drive and Highway 62.
No one was injured as a result of the gunshots.
Quinte West OPP is looking to speak with anyone who may have any information regarding the use of firearms around that time.
Police remind the public to always handle firearms with care and attention and to never shoot unless you are sure of your target and what lies beyond.
