A fight Saturday evening in Belleville allegedly resulted in one person losing a finger.
Belleville Police responded to a report of a fight between several people on South Church Street around 6:45 p.m.
Police say, during the altercation, one female had her finger bitten completely off by another female.
The victim was transported to Belleville General Hospital with a serious injury.
Twenty-five-year-old Justice Herrington of Belleville, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
She was remanded into custody and was to appear in court again Monday.
