Work is scheduled to begin again on Belleville’s Bridge Street Bridge (Lower Bridge) Monday.
Vector Restoration Ltd. has been contracted by the city to complete the rehabilitation which was left unfinished last year after the initial company that was awarded the contract went bankrupt.
The bridge will be reduced to two lanes – one lane of traffic in each direction – and heavy trucks will be detoured.
Work is expected to be completed by November of this year.
