Businessman Tyler Allsopp will run again for Belleville City Council in Ward 1.
Allsopp was unsuccessful in the 2018 municipal election but was appointed to council following the death of Pat Culhane.
Allsopp was the last member of Belleville council to declare his candidacy for the October municipal election.
The deadline is August 19.
