H.J. McFarland Memorial Home is experiencing another outbreak of COVID-19.
The outbreak was confirmed in a press release by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
The current outbreak is affecting residents of Maple Walk and Whispering Pines units.
The home is now closed to most visitors as enhanced safety measures are being put in place, along with additional cleaning of common areas and high-touch surfaces, and staff and approved visitors are being tested for covid.
A previous outbreak was declared over on July 29, just over a week ago.
