As part of the Canadian celebrations of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s accession to the Throne, several local citizens are being recognized for their commitment to local charities and organizations.
Earlier this year, Bay of Quinte MP Ryan Williams issued a call for nominations to honor individuals in the community who embody the Queen’s 70-year legacy of selfless and steadfast service to their fellow people in the community.
