Two people from Tyendinaga Township are facing multiple charges after an attempted break, enter and theft in Loyalist Township.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to a possible break and enter in progress on Taylor Kidd Boulevard Saturday evening just after 7 o’clock.
Responding officers, along with members of the OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Canine Unit were able to contain the area and arrest two suspects a short time later.
Forty-six-year-old Jesse Gornall and 39-year-old Malinda Debassige are charged with:
Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence – two Counts
Possession of break-in instruments
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Both were released with a court appearance scheduled for September 13.
