Campbellford Memorial Hospital has added two new members to its leadership team.
Nicole Wood, previously the Manager of the Inpatient Unit, is assuming the role of Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer while Megan McCarrell has been recruited as the new Emergency Department Manager.
Wood previously worked at Lakeridge Health in Durham and Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg and is a course facilitator at Loyalist College.
McCarrell previously held management positions in acute care at Markham Stouffville Hospital.
In addition to her role as the new Emergency and Operating Room Department Manager, she also assumes leadership of Respiratory Therapy and Professional Practice.
Like many hospitals across the province, CMH has been extremely busy, operating on average at 110% capacity during 2022 and peaking at over 140%.
